Jan is a privacy advisor conducting GDPR workshops and assessments. He is specialised in helping companies with their data strategy and has a good understanding of the data science and data engineering (AWS and GCP).
Jan’s experience shows that companies can attempt to setup a privacy by design methodology and create best in class privacy policy following all GDPR requirements but the consumer does not trust companies have their privacy interests in mind. To counter the mistrust Jan is actively working in Hyperledger Indy and collaborating with major consent advocates like Kantara to create a framework based on blockchain to manage consent lifecycle and adhere to GDPR. Goal is to establish trust in a decentralised fashion where private data is actually removed across all data controllers when consent is withdrawn.
