Dr. André Kudra has more than 13 years of information security consulting experience. In his career he held various key positions in major information security projects of global enterprise organizations. He studied business administration at the European Business School (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany, and computer science at the James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA. He finalized his academic career with a doctorate at the EBS in which he analyzed resistance against IT-based change in the German public sector as a research project in the federal state of Hesse in Germany.
Since 2013 André is CIO of esatus AG, a consulting company specialized in information security matters, with its headquarter near Frankfurt in the Rhine-Main area and offices in Hamburg and Munich. esatus AG is among the Sovrin stewards, operating a node, and a MyData member.
André is a strong advocate of Self-Sovereign Identity and a Sovrin Technical Governance Board member. He attends to technological innovations via practical and research-driven projects which he presents at conferences and with publications. Additionally, he is the designated leader of the working group “Blockchain” of TeleTrusT – IT Security Association Germany. He is also actively contributing to the Blockchain Identity standardization efforts of ISO – International Organization for Standardization via the DIN – Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. membership of esatus AG.
