RESHAPING THE INTERNET THROUGH COLLECTIVE AND NETWORKED INTELLIGENCE
The 2019 NGI Forum is being held in the city of Helsinki, marking an important event in the calendar of the Finnish Presidency of the EU. The Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative brings together some of Europe’s top internet innovators, researchers and policymakers, who are shaping the Internet of tomorrow, while we continue using it to help run our societies and economies.
The speakers including renowned Futurist Martin Wezowski and State Secretary at Ministry of Transport and Communications of Finland, Mikko Koskinen, explore the key issues facing the Internet today, they dare to imagine what the future Internet could look like and outline how we can shape it. Researchers and innovators will share what they are working on to support privacy and trust enhancing technologies for citizens to retain control over their data.
Workshops focus on online identities (eID), collective intelligence, policy for better trust in the Internet and Blockchain in action.
Please note that the access to the NGI Forum is free, but that separate registration is required. Go to ngiforum.eu for registration and more information.
