Dr. Maija Mattila is a Project Manager at Kalevi Sorsa Foundation, a social democratic think tank based in Helsinki. She has published on the rights of workers in the platform economy and regularly appears as an expert in the Finnish media. She is currently responsible for a project aiming at reducing inequalities in and across societies.
Her goal as a think tanker is to create plausible visions for a socially just future. She is Doctor of Social Sciences from Political Science, University of Tampere. She carried out part of her doctorate research at the New School for Social Research, NYC, as a Fulbright grantee.
