John is a Technical Program Manager working with Google’s Data Liberation team in Chicago. The team focuses on data portability with their flagship product Takeout and the open source Data Transfer Project.
Prior to working in privacy, John worked in the payments industry at Google and a growth stage company. In his free time, John is an avid traveler and amateur landscape photographer who has visited 6 continents and 32 countries
